Qualifications
· 5+ years in mechanical operations
· High school degree or GED
· Candidate must be able to read and write English
· State Driver’s License and insurable with the company’s agent
· Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination proficiently
· Lift 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift/move more
· Pass a pre-employment drug screen
· Ability to communicate effectively, problem-solve and troubleshoot
· High school or equivalent (Required)
· Mechanical knowledge including focus on SNOW AND LANDSCAPING EQUIPMENT: 5 years (Required)
· Driver's License (Required)
· Medical DOT Card (Required)
Benefits
· Compensation based on experience
· Pay: $30 - $32 per hour
Responsibilities
· The Full-Time Mechanic will perform a variety of maintenance and repairs to a variety of equipment including but not limited to 2-cycle equipment, diesel engines, medium duty trucks, construction equipment used in snow removal, sweeper trucks, mowers, trailers, and trucks to maintain the optimized life of the equipment
· Inspect, lubricate and service vehicles and equipment
· Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled on all equipment
· Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times
· Perform routine housekeeping duties that are related to tools, materials, shop, and work areas
· Understand the primary operation of the equipment
· Complete daily, weekly, and monthly inspections in Samsara software platform
· Work in a safe environment and promote all safety procedures including all OSHA requirements
· Keep adequate records and maintain documentation in line with agreed standards
· Plan and manage personal time and resources for the maximum benefit of the company
· May assist in other areas of maintenance in the shop as needed or as assigned
· Maintain the physical fitness level necessary to complete assigned tasks
· Meet all applicable Federal and State mandated labor laws

Job Requirements
• 5+ years in mechanical operations.
• Diagnostics and maintenance experience is preferred
• Experience in the landscaping field is preferred.
• High school degree or GED.
• Candidate must be able to read and write English
• State Driver’s License and insurable with the company’s agent.
• Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination proficiently.
• Own your own tools (preferred).
• Lift 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift/move more.
• Maintain the physical fitness level necessary to complete assigned tasks.

• Strong self-starter, taking initiative.

Schedule:
• 6AM - 4PM - on call required 24/7 for breakdowns etc.
